The Bedford Blues and BBQ Festival offers a unique experience for all the senses!
No pets, coolers or tents. Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed. Carnival with rides and games.
Herd cowboys and cowgirls present a fun and educational demonstration about the tools, equipment and techniques used during the cattle drive era of the late 1800's at Cow Camp. All material presents the historical impact the drovers, horses and cattle made in Texas — then and now. View livestock and chuckwagons that represent what was actually used on cattle drives.
This engaging and educational exhibit will spotlight several Dallas buildings and landmarks comprised of more than 2.5 million toy blocks and other toy-building supplies! Families can experience replicas of some of the most influential Dallas buildings all on a miniature scale including: American Airlines Center and Victory Plaza, AT&T Performing Arts District, Reunion Tower and Union Station, Klyde Warren Park, and a 15’ replica of Galleria Dallas! After the exhibit families can enjoy interactive play at special building stations. Children's admission includes a special prize.
Come enjoy the final day of August at the Arboretum featuring the Alice in Wonderland Flower Village.
Celebrate the end of summer and enjoy a spectacular 12-minute Fireworks show. Fireworks can be seen from any Lake Grapevine park or even from your boat!

Bring the family out to enjoy a great train robbery on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad on Labor Day. Train departs at 1:00pm from the Grapevine Cotton Belt Train Depot and returns at 6:00pm. Or hop aboard the Trinity River Run, departing the Fort Worth Stockyards Station at 3:15pm, returning to the Stockyards at 4:15pm.

Watch a real cattle drive and a gunfight! Summer Gunfight Shows with The Legends of Texas - FREE, family friendly show every week-end. Show times are conveniently right after the Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drives!
The exhibition, LEGO Travel Adventure, asks children “What Will You Build?” The exhibition invites children and their families to use LEGO bricks to create their own imaginary dream-machines to take them to some amazing destinations.
Visitors are encouraged to create vehicles capable of flying, driving, and floating and to go on travel adventures to exotic locations − children are challenged to think creatively, plan, and build vehicles that could move through all kinds of terrain – mountains, oceans, jungles, deserts, and more. Dioramas featuring Florida, Hawaii, Paris and San Francisco inspire the creation of vehicles with wings, wheels, masts and more.
Meet & Greet the Animals, Safari Tram, Kids Bucket Train Ride & More! The last Safari Tram leaves at 4pm, so no one will be admitted to the ranch after 4pm. We recommend arriving no later than 2pm to ensure you are able to see all the animals at the front of the ranch and are able to ride the Safari Tram.
