Center for Parent Education


The purpose of the center is to respond to the needs of families through research, advocacy, resources and leadership for professionals interested in meeting the needs of parents and families. The Center for Parent Education assists in the establishment of partnerships with parents, schools, and agencies through research and seminars.


ChildSafe Network


The Child Safe Network's mission is to protect our nations most valuable asset, our children! Our organization is dedicated to educating and preventing missing, and abducted children.

Due to the passing of Megan's Law, convicted sex offenders must register with local police in the communities in which they live. The Child Safe Network provides parents and guardians with the ability to search these databases of convicted sex offenders.

Parenting Information


A division of the Mental Health Association.The Parenting Information web pages are sponsored by the Mental Health Association in Texas (MHAT). MHAT is an original affiliate of the National Mental Health Association, the oldest citizens' mental health advocacy and education organization in Texas.

Founded in 1935 as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, MHAT reaches out to communities across Texas to promote mental health, prevent mental disorders, and improve the care and treatment of people with mental illnesses through education and advocacy.

Texas PTA


PTA is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers and others around the state who have a special interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining a PTA,a member automatically becomes part of the largest child-advocacy organization in the state — over 650,000 strong across Texas.

Studies have proven that membership in PTA provides your child and other children around you with a greater chance of achieving in school.

Vegetarian Family


The purpose of Vegetarian Family is to support the lifestyle of vegetarians with children by: Allowing veggie kids to meet other children who are vegetarian, Promoting interaction of veggie parents, Hosting picnics, potlucks, Sunday buffets, excursions, and outdoor activities for children of all ages,  Providing parental support and assistance, and Education.  This group serves the DFW area.
